‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Drops Super Bowl Spot With New Footage

The Mandalorian season 3 is just a couple of weeks away, and Disney Plus just released a brand-new TV spot that aired during the Super Bowl. While it is basically a recut of the footage we’ve already seen so far, it does include a few frames of new footage, like the image seen above.

Here is the official synopsis for the third season:

“The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”

The entire cast is back, including Pedro Pascal as the voice of Din Djarin (with Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder wearing the suit), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Emily Swallow (the Armorer), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Omid Abtahi (Dr. Pershing), Amy Sedaris (Peli Motto), Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Carson Teva), Christopher Lloyd in a guest role, Misty Rosas (playing an unconfirmed character), and Simon Kassianides (Axe Woves, Bo-Katan’s companion).

Jon Favreau is back as showrunner, main writer, and executive producer. Dave Filoni is also co-writer and executive producer, a position Rick Famuyiwa was promoted to this season. Famuyiwa, along with Bryce Dallas Howard, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Rachel Morrison, and Peter Ramsey, will be directing episodes this season.

New episodes of The Mandalorian start streaming March 1st on Disney Plus.
