‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Debuts on March 1

Lucasfilm has finally announced the release date for The Mandalorian season 3 after months of speculation.

The series will return to Disney Plus on March 1, 2023 (via Twitter):

Jon Favreau has been speaking about The Mandalorian season 3 at CCXP, saying that it will be bigger in scope than previous seasons, with more space battles, more Mandalorians, and other surprises to come (via DiscussingFilm):

Apparently, those attending the event have also been treated to some concept art from the upcoming season:

And here’s a video of Pedro Pascal on stage, wearing Star Wars pyjamas and exclaiming that it’s an honor to be everyone’s favorite “space daddy”:

This drop of news will hopefully be followed by a public release of the trailer that was shown at the Disney APAC showcase earlier this week, which showed more of Bo-Katan and new glimpses of Mandalore. The show will likely overlap with season 2 of The Bad Batch for a while, since the animated show will run for 16 episodes, with a two-episode premiere on Disney Plus in early January if nothing changes.

Now we can begin the countdown until we next see Din Djarin and Grogu on our screens once more.
