‘Grogu and Dust Bunnies’ Short Reportedly Coming to Disney Plus November 12, On Third Anniversary of ‘The Mandalorian’

It appears that a surprise little Star Wars short — starring Grogu — will arrive next week, on November 12, to Disney Plus. Though its nature is unclear.

The surprise news comes via Disney Plus Italy’s official channels (hat tip r/StarWarsLeaks) as part of the monthly release schedule. Check out our cropped screencap below:

While no marketing has been done for these sort of shorts, we can guess from the Star Wars Zen part of the title that “Grogu and Dust Bunnies” may simply be one of the many ambient sounds / musical videos designed to be played in the background (or be watched in little breaks) that Disney Plus has put out over time. For example, here’s the trailer for 2020’s Zenimation, which grabbed highlights from many animated Disney classics:

You might also remember that, last year, Lucasfilm and Disney Plus put together a series of similar shorts under the title Galaxy of Sounds, though this new Grogu short appears to be an entirely different thing, even if it might share their core philosophy.

Regardless of what we end up getting next week, it’s becoming quite apparent that Disney and Lucasfilm are starting to build up towards The Mandalorian season 3 with all the recent Grogu-related announcements of new toys, Hasbro figures, and varied content like this.
