‘Tales of the Jedi’ Episode Lengths Range From 10 to 17 Minutes

As we enter the ten final days before the release of all six episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, new information from the series is coming out regularly. Earlier this week we found out about the titles and directors of all six animated shorts, and now we have learned how long each one will be.

From YouTuber EckhartsLadder, in order, the shorts are 17, 14, 13, 15, 10, and 14 minutes long (minus Disney Plus intro and credits). Even though the names of the episodes were revealed as well, it’s unknown which one is which. The first one, titled “Life and Death”, was screened for Star Wars Celebration attendees back in May, and follows the birth of Ahsoka Tano and her first baby steps. It is likely positioned as the first episode of the series too.

Besides that, there are two more Ahsoka-centric episodes, and the other three will follow the rise and fall of Jedi Master Count Dooku as he trains a young Qui-Gon Jinn before descending down the dark path.

The voice cast is packed, with Ashley Eckstein back as the voice of young Ahsoka and Liam Neeson returns as the voice of older Qui-Gon. Young Qui-Gon will be voiced by Liam Neeson’s son, Micheál Richardson. Matt Lanter is back as the voice of Anakin Skywalker, and James Arnold Taylor returns as Obi-Wan — both came back for The Clone Wars season 7 as well. Janina Gavankar provided the voice of Ahsoka’s mother, and Star Wars veteran Clancy Brown voiced the Sixth Brother, the Inquisitor we saw in the trailer and to whom we were first introduced in the Ahsoka novel. And last but not least, Ian McDiarmid will be the voice of Darth Sidious once again.

All six episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi arrive October 26 on Disney Plus.
