‘Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi’ Episode Titles and Directors Revealed Ahead of Series Premiere

Tales of the Jedi episodes’ titles and directors have been revealed just days ahead of the series premiere. Courtesy of a press kit document found and shared on r/StarWarsLeaks, we have learned a bit more about the upcoming animated anthology series.

The animated series is the brainchild of Dave Filoni, who serves as executive producer and supervising director across all six shorts. Three episodes focus on Ahsoka Tano, and the other three are about a young Count Dooku. Filoni wrote five of the six episodes, and Charles Murray and Élan Murray penned the remaining one. Directing duties reside with Nathaniel Villanueva, Charles Murray, and Saul Ruiz.

Here is the breakdown of who is attached to which episode, along with the titles of each short:

  • “Life and Death”: Directed by Nathaniel Villanueva and written by Dave Filoni
  • “Justice”: Directed by Saul Ruiz and written by Dave Filoni
  • “The Sith Lord”: Directed by Saul Ruiz and written by Dave Filoni
  • “Practice Makes Perfect”: Directed by Saul Ruiz and written by Dave Filoni
  • “Coda”: Directed by Saul Ruiz and written by Dave Filoni
  • “Choices”: Directed/written by Charles Murray and written by Élan Murray

This list is not indicative of what order the episodes will air in, just presented in what order they appear in the press kit.

The voice cast is led by Ashley Eckstein’s Ahsoka and Corey Burton’s Count Dooku. Joining them is pretty much the entire (relevant) Clone Wars cast with one notable exception: Ian McDiarmid returns as Darth Sidious. This shouldn’t be too surprising as McDiarmid has already lent his voice to the Emperor for his upcoming appearance in The Bad Batch season 2. He also returned for a brief cameo in the finale of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The rest of the cast is rounded out by Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn), Micheál Richardson (young Qui-Gon), Janina Gavankar (Ahsoka’s mother), TC Carson (Mace Windu), Phil Lamarr (Bail Organa), Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Clancy Brown (the Inquisitor). Dee Bradley Baker will also return as Rex.

All six episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi arrive October 26 on Disney Plus.
