New ‘Star Wars: Andor’ Clip Shows Cassian Speaking to Bix
The Andor clips are coming thick and fast now as we ramp up to next week’s premiere. The latest one, which debuted on ABC, shows Cassian visiting Bix and trying to set up a meeting with her contact, who is presumably Stellan Skarsgård’s Luthen Rael.
In the clip, Bix isn’t exactly warm to Cassian. In fact, it appears she’s annoyed that he’s interrupted her work, and explains to Cassian that the normal process involves a month-long waiting period. After Cassian’s persistence, she reluctantly reveals there’s a ship coming in a week that should give him the opportunity he seeks.
That correlates with actress Adria Arjona’s recent comments about Bix’s relationship with Cassian, stating that they’re very much “off and on again”. There seems to be a lot of history between the two, and perhaps Cassian hasn’t always done right by her.
If the contact is Luthen Rael, that would be a surprise, as it seemed he had sought out Cassian, and not the other way around. But it does seem that Cassian is eager to sell something he stole from the Empire, which matches up with the scene previously revealed that showed the two meeting.
