‘Star Wars’ Celebration Adds Rancho Obi-Wan’s “The Evolution of the Mandalorians” Exhibit

Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 is adding a new Mandalorian-themed exhibit as an extra treat, courtesy of Rancho Obi-Wan.

The announcement arrived via the official Star Wars Celebration Twitter account, which is dropping news left and right in the final ramp-up ahead of the massive May 26-29 event.

As stated in the tweet, this “Evolution of the Mandalorians” exhibit will highlight rare items and other memorabilia straight from the collections of Rancho Obi-Wan chairman and president Steve Sansweet, vice president Gus Lopez, vice chairman Duncan Jenkins, and renowned collectors Lisa Stevens and Vic Wertz.

According to Rancho Obi-Wan’s own website, the organization’s presence is going beyond this just-announced show, and will also include four other exhibits: “What’s in a Name”, “10 Years of Rancho Obi-Wan”, “Cascading Grogu in Ombre”, and “History of Star Tots”. Moreover, classic activities, such as a spinning wheel and a fundraising raffle, will be back by popular demand.

Rancho Obi-Wan is a publicly supported, nonprofit museum located in Petaluma, California, that houses the world’s largest Star Wars memorabilia collection (as certified by Guinness World Records in 2014). The organization’s mission is “to inspire people by showcasing the collection and promoting a warm, joyous, inclusive environment for a fun, authentic fan experience.”
