UPDATE: Carl Weathers Confirms ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Has Wrapped Production

UPDATE:

The account that originally posted the pictures above has been turned private, and we can no longer access the post. However, The Mandalorian actor and director Carl Weathers has confirmed on Twitter that season 3 has wrapped production:

Weathers is back for the third season as Grief Karga, and will also direct at least one of the episodes.

A new Instagram post from a member of The Mandalorian season 3 costume department has announced that the team has concluded their work on the new season. This means that a wrap on principal photography should happen any day now, after six months of shooting.

The post was made by an artist that we assume is called Amanda Ramírez. Since Ramírez is not credited by IMDb in any previous season we are still unsure of her identity, but her Instagram account details seem to match up. The Grogu pins seen in the Instagram post are most likely their wrap gifts, which members of the cast and crew are typically given once they conclude their work.

The Mandalorian season 3 will be hitting Disney Plus either late 2022 or early 2023. The caption on the Instagram post mentions “the next one”, which could be a reference to a yet-to-be-announced fourth season, or the upcoming Ahsoka series, which is scheduled to start shooting next month in the same studio used by The Mandalorian. We will keep you posted on any further developments and more wrap announcements as they happen. This is the way.
