ILMxLAB has revealed an extended gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call on Oculus Quest.

Last Call will offer new adventures, two new Tales, and new items to buy at Mubo’s workshop. The trailer shows off plenty of action, as you delve into some ancient ruins, train with a lightsaber, and take control of fan favorite IG-88.

As mentioned above, one of the adventures involves Dok-Ondar recruiting you on a mission to explore some ancient ruins on Batuu to recover an ancient artifact. The player will have to solve various puzzles and shoot ancient-looking droids as they navigate the Sardeevem Chasm and the Caverns of the Moons.

Another adventure will have the player discovering a secret First Order base far away from the Black Spire Outpost. This story involves infiltrating the First Order to take the base down, with the help of Hondo Ohnaka (Jim Cummings returns to voice the character he gave life to back in The Clone Wars and Rebels), Lens Kamo (Karla Crome), Mubo, R2-D2, and C-3PO. These unlikely allies will be going up against First Order stormtrooper Lt. Gauge (Daman Mills).

In one of the new Tales, The Bounty of Boggs Triff, the player will take control of IG-88, voiced by Rhys Darby, and infiltrate an impregnable fortress on the moon of Nar Shaddaa to hunt down the mobster Boggs Triff (Darin DePaul). You can also continue the Tale of Ady’Sun Zee in The Sacred Garden, set in The High Republic era. Set many years after the first tale, Ady’Sun has risen to the rank of Jedi Knight and must now teach her new padawan Nooa the ways of the Force.

Aside from this new Tale in The High Republic era, and potentially the IG-88 story, Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge primarily takes place between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. Last Call will continue to tell more stories about the characters and world of Batuu, the setting of the Galaxy’s Edge land in the Disney theme parks of California and Florida.

Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call is only available on Oculus Quest, much like Vader Immortal when it was first released. It will be available to play on September 15, 2021, for a price of $9.99, or $34.99 for the full experience (presumably similar to a season pass, including the previous chapter and future instalments).
