Hot Toys Reveals New The Mandalorian and The Child Deluxe Set
Now this is the way! This morning Hot Toys revealed their brand new Deluxe Version of The Mandalorian and The Child. Featuring Din Djarin in his pristine beskar armor and the affectionately named Baby Yoda in his hover pram, along with LED features and every accessory you could possibly need, this is one bounty you won’t want to miss.
The Deluxe Version is the latest release in Hot Toys line of 1/6th scale Star Wars collectibles, which has expanded rapidly since the release of The Force Awakens, and is arguably one of the best looking pieces they have ever created.
The detail of the Mandalorian’s beskar armor is exquisite, and he comes loaded with every weapon and accessory you could possibly need to recreate almost any scene from The Mandalorian‘s first season. Whistling birds, a tracking fob, a pauldron bearing the Mudhorn signet, a camtono of beskar (with LED effects!), a jet pack. Everything Din Djarin could ever need to hunt down his prey.
And then there’s The Child. The Deluxe Version features a standing version of everyone’s favorite youngling, along with a sitting version, with interchangeable heads, for his hover pram. That’s right, you get two of him. The hover pram itself also looks amazing and attaches to the desert base that comes with the figures.
“Based on the appearance of the fearless Mandalorian in his new beskar armor, the highly-accurate collectible set features the bounty hunter with meticulously crafted helmet and armor pieces, interchangeable right shoulder armor with Mudhorn signet, skillfully tailored outfit, an attachable jetpack, a blaster rifle and pistol, flamethrower effect, a tracking fob and a desert-themed figure base.
Crafted based on the appearance of The Child in The Mandalorian, the 1/6th scale collectible features a curious standing Child with delicate workmanship, and a signature necklace.
This Deluxe Version brings an additional The Child sitting in the hover pram, beskar steel and camtono container with LED light-up function, a whistling bird firing effects attachable to Mandalorian’s left gauntlet, and also a miniature hologram exclusively to recreate more iconic scenes.”
In addition to the Deluxe Version, a Standard Version will also be available featuring the same figures of The Mandalorian and the standing version of The Child, but with fewer accesories and without the hover pram and sitting Child.
Hot Toys’ The Mandalorian and The Child (Deluxe Version) is available to pre-order today and is expected to ship Spring/Summer 2021.
