Terrio: we wanted to tell the story that came after 8.

Rejwan: we wanted to make sure every character got their time.

Terrio: Entrances were the most important parts of all our new characters.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Terrio: so much of humor is rhythm. I really looked up to and pulled from Larry Kasdan and his style of humor.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Terrio: there will be “Chris Terrio” Easter eggs and ones for fans.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Do you have a cameo in the film?
Terrio: I can’t speak on that.— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Terrio: These were Carrie’s last words on screen so we felt it was important to handle it as best as possible.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Rejwan: we met with George Lucas early on and took in his ideas and he has faith in Kathy and Lucasfilm to handle the property.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Terrio: this story is told to have a conclusion but could continue if need be.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Chris Terrio directly answered this question from us:
What was your experience like working with Lucasfilm Story Group? Did you have direct communication with them?
Terrio: I had Pablo on speed dial. I would call and ask for context on what happened in previous stories like Clone Wars and he would give me feedback and say, that’s a bad idea. (Laughs) Our whole team was very open about what was and what wasn’t a good idea.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Terrio: Dio was heavily inspired by a dog that was close to me. And all of our characters were built from something or someone close to us emotionally.
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) December 4, 2019
Terrio: the Force is such a huge thing that it remains a mystery to all our characters in the movie.
