John Williams’ Score for ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Streaming Online Via Disney Studios for Award Consideration
Walt Disney Studios is streaming the entire score for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on their “For Your Consideration” page via Disney Studios for Award considerations.
Portions of the 23 tracks can be streamed on Disney Studios Awards. As of now the tracks are not titled here, so nothing is given away from a narrative perspective, though be warned that could very well change for all we know. It should be taken into consideration that if the tracks are in some sort of narrative chronological order, you can probably hear familiar themes throughout and connect some dots. So if you want to go in to the movie completely fresh, you might want to pass on listening.
The site is used to submit the film for award considerations. It is unknown whether this is supposed to be public or not, but as of now it is readily available at the link above without login credentials.
Retails sites have the score available for purchase, download, and streaming on December 20, the same date The Rise of Skywalker officially opens in theaters in the United States.
