In 2015, J.J. Abrams was tasked with reviving Star Wars, a franchise once believed to be completed and in the past. He pulled it off with the critically acclaimed, box office record-setting, and fan beloved The Force Awakens!

Fast forward to now, and Abrams has to end the story, and not only his, but culminate the entire nine-episode Skywalker saga! We talk about his change in approach to making The Rise of Skywalker versus how he made The Force Awakens, and all the factors that when into it.
