Baseball Player Finds the Force in ‘Star Wars’ Night Promo
The Minnesota Twins baseball team went all out kicking off an annual “Star Wars” night with the help of a baseball player named Trevor Plouffe. The team is promoting the night by using the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Trailer as a basis in creating a video.
The extensive video intercuts scenes of and X-Wing flying over the baseball field, fans, and the player piloting an X-Wing in the dogfight over Star killer base while it mixes in actual scenes from the TFA’s original trailer. Plouffe who is a third baseman for the club is shown as an X-Wing pilot in this cool trailer.
Plouffe sarcastically tweeted two words along with the video: “Method actor.”

The video features an X-wing fighter buzzing over the State of Minnesota Baseball Stadium Target Field, Darth Vader showing up on the huge stadium Jumbotron full of flames, and the team mascot (TC Bear) growling like a wookie.
“Star Wars Night” at the Stadium is slated for the Twins’ May 19th game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Fans who purchase a “special ticket package” the team will receive a special bobblehead of the third baseman dressed in full rebel pilot gear. Twins tickets for Star Wars night can be purchased at their website at MinnesotaTwins.Com
I may have to attend that game that night.
Nothing beat their “Hughes The Force” Phil Hughes bobblehead they gave away last year. I am a Yankees fan and I picked this up on eBay. So awesome.
Noice!
