UPDATE! Fake: A Photo Leak of All Star Wars Movies Slated Through 2020.
Indie Revolver posted, what appears to be a leaked photo with the full slate of Star Wars movies scheduled for release until 2020. The photo was probably meant to be revealed during the Lucasfilm’s panel on Friday at SDCC, and could be considered spoilerific, so proceed at your own risk…
From Indie Revolver:
In advance of Friday’s Hall H presentation a VERY legitimate looking rundown of Star Wars slate of films has popped up on Imgur.
The image is said to have been taken at Dianey/Lucasfilm’s rundown for their Hall H presentation at SDCC.
It’s strange that the Anthology Han Solo movie that was officially announced yesterday, here is called Boba Fett/Han Solo. Also if this is legit, it appears that the third stand-alone movie in not an Anthology one. It’s sub-titled “The Balance of the Force”. This is quite interesting and a Kenobi movie always made the most sense to me, with Ewan McGregor still around in his best years.
Also considering that Han Solo is scheduled for a 2018 release, the list of movies appears to be in clockwise order.
If fake, the photo is really really very well made. I checked the level of grain used on the screen and the hall and it’s the same. It does look legit. And now it appears that the image has been removed from Imgur…
UPDATE!
The guys from the BobaFettFanClub did some impressive detective work, debunking the image:
I really hope that Disney payed close attention to the fans’ reaction at the Kenobi movie news. This movie has to happen. This is what all the fans want. I personally feel very disappointed that this image is fake. It was perfectly done. The guy who did this, please contact me, I want to shake your hand. 🙂

I call shenanigans.
Yeah its a bit fishy, we hear officially about the Solo film and then someone says well lets put together a picture that looks legitimate and contains all of the information we already know and just a tiny bit more that people want!
That said, I love the idea of a Kenobi film starring Ewan McGregor and really hope this is a 100% legitimate photo.
Agree. I would love to see an Ewan McGregor Obi Wan movie…. but McGregor has prequel trilogy connections. Thus, Disney wants nothing to do with it, because remember, they only cater to the OT star wars fans these days.
I disagree with that reasoning. Most of the Prequel “haters” always point to McGreggor as the one shining point. There is a lot of respect for him as Kenobi.
Because Disney hates making money right?
U pt fans are so delusional.
Dude, it would be a Star Wars movie. It would make hundreds of millions of dollars no matter what.
Well … as long as it doesn’t star Jar Jar.
Nothing wrong with being a prequel fan. All the hate for the prequels is misguided.
That said… I would NOT be in favor of a Kenobi movie. The book wasn’t that great, and in a movie… what story are they going to tell? They’d have to shoehorn something in to make it look like he was doing something that affected the greater storyline while he was in seclusion, which would be pretty tough.
Fett/Solo must be a working title, it looks odd if it keeps the Fett/Solo title
I call BS & shenanigans.
Whoa! Whoa! BS AND shenanigans!
Yup, with sprinkles on top = P
Mmmmm sprinkles
I call bullshit.
kenobi could work as ewuen is still look the same
Wanna try that again except not in stroke speak?
Regardless of the legitimacy of this photo…many endorphins were released in my brain just now when I saw the Kenobi title. Fett/Solo (obviously not the final title)? Meh… But Kenobi… I dig it.
An Obi Wan spinoff would actually make sense…. which is why I think it’s a fake.
Disney only caters to masturbating OT fanboys.
Right because there is billions o dollars to be made by selling to the huge pt fan base but Disney doesn’t care about money. Delusional pt fans tell yourself whatever makes u happy
Lol. I am more of an OT fan. A lot of the prequels were awkward and meh…but I did enjoy McGregor’s performance.
Agreed. Kenobi was the saving grace of the PT and for that reason, he needs a film. Looking forward to it, if they do it.
You sound so lonely. Fact is, Disney’s been shifting a lot of their focus in Marvel and Lucasfilm to more mature audiences.
The PT was kiddie stuff at best. Sub par at worst. As a kid, I thought they were cool. Now… meh… maybe when I have kids they’ll like them.
So, keep masturbating to your PT but don’t expect a lot of it in the future films. Disney already makes tons of kiddie movies, it doesn’t need to add Star Wars to the list.
Holly spaceballs!
I better give up smoking
Or Snoking 😉
^ LOL
If these are in order of release the Kenobi and Fett/Solo movie are switched. Also, The Balance of the Force was a rumored prequel title.
blimey, if that’s a fake photo, some effort’s gone into it. Kenobi! If I had to make a bet on whether legit or not I don’t know which way I’d go. 50/50
Always effort in a fake you will find.
What really gets me is the order of the movies… the first row is in chronological order from left to right, but the new Han Solo movie is slated for 2018, which is right after Episode VIII. It seems odd that they would choose to display the movies either out of order or in clockwise order. It could just be me, but it’d make more sense to have the Solo Anthology film be bottom left, then Episode IX, followed by Kenobi in the bottom right.
I think I’m going with shenanigans on this one, too.
Maybe the 2018 date for Solo film as reported in the other article is inaccurate? To me it makes sense that whatever project Trank was working on is next after Rogue One seeing as how it’s already underway. And it was said that that project is still ongoing and is not the same as the Solo movie.
The Han Solo Anthology was officially announced yesterday and on the official SW website, a 2018 release date was given.
What if the list is in clockwise order? 😉
It may be a wink at GL’s obsession with ring-shaped narrative (which is the only redeeming quality of the Prequel Trilogy).
smh at you delusional and irrational PT haters/bashers with misguided feelings of nostalgia.
Yes, it’s delusional and irrational to hate the PT. They’re really misunderstood classics.
Lol! Seriously nostalgia? I grew up on the prequels and they have not aged well! While the OT are stone-cold classics
“While the OT are stone-cold classics.”
Pfft, please. I love all six films of the saga, but let’s not wear our rose-colored glasses. All existing episodic Star Wars films are great/classics, but none of them are flawless.
The Original Trilogy was extremely flawed too.
The Phantom Menace alone has more originality and charm than a handful of sci-fi films made during the same era.
All the charm a piece of dung can have.
That was the only reasonable explanation I could think of as well, but seemed silly to do that.
As reported, we know it’s fake anyway, so it’s a moot point. 🙂 Just means they did this mock-up before the announcement!
If this is legit, it could be an earlier version. From before they made final decisions. After this they decided that Solo eill be released in 2018 and announced it.
So I’m betting they will present this at SDCC, but with Kenobi and Solo having switched places.
Follow up to Frost/Nixon
Fake or not, could McGregor be one of the rumoured ‘Special Guests’?
Doubt it.
I don’t. That could easily be who it is, as he’s expressed interest before.
I just got excited because I don’t care…..Kenobi movie would make my life complete <3
sigh………….A han solo and boba fett movie is just plain silly and such a dumb fuckin idea…Disney is just straight up destroying Star Wars…George Lucas needs throat punched.
Are you being very ungrateful? What did you expect?
I completely disagree. I love the idea of a young Han movie. And we wouldn’t even be discussing it if it were not for Disney. The Avengers rocked. So will Star Wars. You can go away if you want.
Yes young indy was a real blast.
you like the idea of a young Han movie because you are probably 20 years old and actually think the prequels were good movies.let them make a Han SOlo movie and see what happens…Disney will get a bigger backlash for it than Lucas EVER did over Jar Jar binks and the special editions. You are a minority kid….sorry to lay it on ya sweetheart
That was just annoying
Actually, George Lucas retired. Every decision made regarding Star Wars since October 2012 is Disney’s fault.
Where in the hell have you been these last three yeras, Anon?
The throat punch comment was in regards to george selling the franchise…if he wouldnt have, we wouldnt be suffering through this bs. understand english much?
Kenobi? I would have gone with Obi Wan or Obi Wan Kenobi
Obi-Wan? I don’t think he exists anymore. He died about the same time as your father.
Wheres my Darth maul origins movie?
Perhaps a movie about how he got a stupid spider body?
Disney won’t even consider a darth maul movie. they hate the prequels and only worship giggling OT fanboys, remember?
Maul’s story will come full circle with the release of Kenobi’s film. “Old Wounds” was good enough to inspire Maul’s return… and has the perfect ending already written.
Kenobi’s story cannot be completed without Darth Maul.
This is real. Trank was directing Kenobi. FETT/SOLO is a separate film to the 2018 SOLO film. You’ll see Friday.
Looks fake, but what happened to all that talk a few weeks ago about a Kenobi movie? Was that shot down as being fake also?
Here’s how you do a Young Han movie. Make it a computer-animated film a la “The Adventures of Tintin” and have Harrison Ford provide the voice. It would be awesome, and you wouldn’t have to worry about casting.
If it’s a young Solo, I don’t think Harrison could pull it off. He sounds to gruff now I think to even voice an OT timeline Solo, especially an even younger version. Rebels is pushing it with Lando and Vader, but I think overall they did a good job and I love having the original actors doing the voices. However, I feel differently about Ford. He sounds a lot different now than he did in ’77. And I don’t think he’s ever done any voice work … so I’d be surpised if they went that route.
You could cast Ford as the older Han maybe recounting a tale from his youth over a drink at the cantina.
He’ll cameo somehow..
Lots off on this, I think:
1) Solo film is for sure a May 2018 release, that was stated in the press release yesterday. Why list these counter clockwise? When they did the same “chart” (for lack of a better term) for the Marvel releases, there were dates there, and they weren’t in odd order
2) I suppose it isn’t a stretch that Fett is added to the Solo movie, although it wasn’t announced yesterday. Kasdan was vocal early on in the process about how he wanted to do away with Lucas’ Prequel Clone Baby Fett and have someone steal his uniform. It seems odd he would have even commented on this if he wasn’t in some way involved with writing a Fett film.
3) Why doesn’t the Kenobi film say “Anthology” as well? Clearly it is one, right?
Sorry, but with Disney/LFL making an official declaration of all 6 SW films being canon and The Clone Wars and Rebels TV shows being canon as well, your 2nd point (the redoing of Boba Fett as someone stealing his uniform) seems unlikely. It’s also printed in the book “Ultimate Star Wars” – an official SW encyclopedia of all SW canon material that came out this past May (sanction by Disney/LFL) – what Fett’s backstory is based on the movies and TCW so this idea of re-imagining Fett during the times of the 6 SW movies needs to go out the window and out of people’s heads (though the idea of someone stealing his uniform after Ep. 6 after getting out of the Sarlacc Pit is fair game).
Baby boba will be erased one way or another. Such crap “fan-service”
Yeah, you couldn’t be farther from the truth. You can go ahead and live in your own fantasy land if you’d like. Whatever you have to say to yourself to make yourself feel happy.
Also, Pomojema stated in a post from another article:
“Pablo Hidalgo says that they aren’t doing that. Not before the time frame of the Original Trilogy, anyway. The Boba Fett you see in TESB is the same person as the one in AOTC.”
Your point 3 is the reason I think it’s legit. If someone faked this, wouldn’t it be easier to name the Kenobi film also Anthology as everyone expects?
maybe the kenobi movie is in continuity somehow with the new trilogy and he is somehow alive which i don’t know how they would do that but when the lucasfilm/disney deal was announced they said it would be a connected universe like the avengers so maybe kenobi will team up with the gang? just my thoughts/predictions
Ewan for Obi!
It’s most likely a fake. Compare this to this picture of hall h:
https://actadinerda.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/img_0068.jpg
-chairs are really different
-the screen on the supposted leak is WAY too small in comparison to the screen in hall h.
The position of the screen on the “leak” is too low. In hall H the screen in 2 meters higher.
furthermore, it seems like someone tried (in a very fanboyish way) to put all the rumors on anthology films in one picture, hence we have kenobi, solo and fett. Oh and dont forget ‘balance of the force’ (i dont even know what that is supposed to mean. And why is the old lucasfilm logo being shown?
I am not saying it’s real, but it could just not be from Hall H. It is probably a small conference room where they are rehearsing for Hall H if it’s legit.
And after making that argument, I presume you know what “The Force Awakens” means?
Lol, the rest are legit arguments, but you not comprehending the title of a movie yet to be made does not mean it can’t be the title.
Oh, now you can tell something is fake by the “positioning” of words on a screen? You must have great eyes.
Tell me, are you the same guy who also claims that the podracing scene in TPM was obviously 100% CGI?
Too bad…
Can we please move on to other times and characters. Id rather seen a Darth Bane film than Kenobi one
Disney is just getting started. We’ll eventually move on to other eras, probably shortly after IX.
Can we please move on from Darth Bane and other nostalgia fueled suggestions? No? Ok then.. that’s why we have solo/fett/kenobi rumors
This is fake. Chronology is not consistent with the press announcement.Still it would be true Boba story is included in Han episode.
Balance of the Force.
AS IN
a movie about
Kenobi [the Jedi]
and to balance:
a sith movie.
____ [a sith]
Plagueis/Palpatine??
If this is real, the subtitle on the Kenobi film could make sense if there is a Kenobi trilogy planned. Each film could be titled Star Wars: Kenobi with a subtitle. This would obviously differentiate them from the anthology films which thus far appear to be standalone features.
If there is a Kenobi Trilogy planned, Disney could put one out every six-film cycle. For example:
Kenobi 1 (2020 – Ewan, age 48 in 2019 while filming)
Kenobi 2 (2024 – Ewan, age 52)
Kenobi 3 (2032 – Ewan, age 60 and looking and moving about like 62-year old Sir Alec Guinness did back in 1976!) 😀
Kenobi film would be awesome! It’s been 10 years since RotS released meaning that Ewan would be the perfect age to star in a film taking place between RotS and ANH
For the people saying its fake because it doesn’t look like HAll H. It says its from their rundown for Hall H. That doesn’t mean this was from Hall H. If true, it was probably a smaller venue for a rehearsal.
Gonna go with it being fake.
If Fett and Solo end up in the same film, maybe they’ll give it a western vibe.
Kenobi redeems Fett/Solo for me. Let it be real!
Oh please Disney, make the Kenobi movie real. Ewan will make it memorable.
I think that in all this anthology films Disney should introduce this movies therebetween of each trilogy and centered on villains.
So the first anthology movie should be before “TPM” than explained the sith wars with Palpatine and Plagueis.
The second anthology film, that is already on production (ROGUE ONE), after “ROTS” and centered on the war and on the character of Tarkin.
And finally the third anthology movie located after the events of “ROTJ”, centered on the character of Boba Fett, how scaped the Sarlaac and chased Han Solo in a Clint Eastwood´s Unforgiven Star Wars movie style. This third movie centered on Boba and Han will serve to join the OT and the ST.
There is no sense in making a story of Han and Fett before ANH.
And there is only one Han Solo and is Harrison Ford!
I’m sick of Prequels set before ROTJ.
…but you are getting quite a big film set after ROTJ in December 😉
I can`t figure out if this is done in photoshop or GIMP. Looks more like a GIMP job. But they a did good with blending the screen into a darkened cinema environment, nice lighting effects.
i want an Ian Mcdiarmid movie ( he deserves one) might be his history with plageuis or the hunt of the jedi with Vader licking his boots like the comic: the purge
This sounds far more interesting than a Solo or Kenobi movie. I see there’s a lot of praise for Ewan’s Kenobi, but in all honesty I find his Kenobi boring and the over-the-top accent silly. Obviously I’m in a minority, so I’ll call a taxi (oops, cab).
Balance of the Force was a rumored Phantom Menace title waaaay back in the day.
new character please. why stick to the one who has gone through the episode of OT which anthology could
not surpass. Total lack of creativity. Every one hate the prequel, still Lucas took the huge risk. The characters, the design of planet , spaceships completely apart from OT. Disney is willing to cash in from the legacy which would be good for business for short term, but , in the long run , could trigger slow deterioration for business .
Yeah it was really brave of Lucas to not shoe-horn tons of OT references into the prequels. Super brave of him.. yup.. All new characters and ships! Yup.. the prequels were awesome!
“Every one hates the prequel”, yeah you couldn’t be much farther from the truth [as we all know that PT haters/bashers are actually in the minority (and there are various statistics out there that prove this); they’re just too loud and vocal on the internet]. But whatever irrational and delusional PT haters/bashers have to tell them themselves to feel better and sleep well at night I guess…
The prequels did have the best writing around. I mean the story was great without flaws. The casting was perfect. Everything was absolute GOLD. Best movies in the universe. They even teach the prequels in colleges around the world. You can even get a degree in movie making by studying the perfection that is StarWars I, II and III. Nobody watched any of them and had feelings of disappointment because they were mediocre crap films at all.
You snarky sarcasm is easily identifiable!
You ain’t fooling anyone you PT hater/basher!
Silly virgin bitches always bashing the prequels.

Actually there are none. The vast majority of fans (outside you living in denial types) greatly dislike the prequels. Hence the red letter media guys gained lots of popularity for their Pinkett reviews.
Phony Baloney
It’s a photoshop job and not even a good one. The perspective of the projected image on the screen doesn’t match the rest of the picture. Besides, why would they project a timeline of upcoming projects in a theater with a bunch of empty seats? Just to see if the projector works? LOL!
No such thing as creativity anymore. Fett/solo? Come on man. I don’t doubt it’s real. Look at batman vs superman. What kind of title is that? Cash grab confirmed.
It’s almost like they’re taking a pre-existing format (hidden fortress, Flash Gordon, etc) and creating a new movie(a new hope)
What about Frost/nixon title then ? MMmh ? I guess you can’t say anything ?! Now fall on your knees and call me Master !! HuHuAuAhuAHAHA
Confirmed as a fake here https://www.facebook.com/bobafettfanclub/photos/a.10150541609422244.435704.23276402243/10153500940077244/?type=1&theater
Not ALL the fans want a Kenobi movie. We have already seen him in six movies. That plenty enough for me. What he did on Tatooine waiting for Luke to grow up ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Hey, I didn’t even really like the PT films and I’d love to see Ewan in a Kenobi film.
In ANH when they go into Mos Eisley, it’s pretty obvious that old Ben has been there before. He knows what a rough town it is, he knows specifically how dangerous that particular cantina is, and he also knows that it’s the best place for them to find a good freighter pilot to hire.
As far as I’m concerned there’s plenty of room in the story to have him go off-planet for something during his time on Tatooine. In fact, given all the trinkets on the walls of his home in ANH, it looks like he’s done a lot more than to just sit there in the desert biding time and squeezing blackheads.
I think there’s definitely a story or two to be told there.
You made me LOL at work when I pictured Sir Alec sitting in his cave squeezing blackheads in a mirror.
“Sploit! Gurp! Blapp!”
It’s a shame that you are a PT hater/basher yet you are part of the SW7N staff. It makes me question this site’s credibility and true dedication to Star Wars fandom knowing that someone whose fandom I now call into question is someone who is involved in the running of this site.
If this site wants to regain my trust (as well as the trust of many other true Star Wars fans who aren’t perusing on this site and spreading hate), then the leaders of SW7N (which I believe is either Viral hide or Pomojema) would be wise to let go of DEKKA129 as an official site moderator and publisher so that he cannot have a platform to spread hate from anymore. Viral and Pomojema, I hope you’re paying attention to the stern words I am sending to you.
You’re ridiculous.
I usually never argue or complain on this site. Nor do I generally belittle opinions, as I believe everyone has one and is entitled to it. But this comment is dumb and unwarranted. All Dekka said in this thread was that he didn’t really like the PT films. I like that the staff represents fans from different views.
I think it is important that there are staff that represent the fans. There are a lot of fans who dislike the prequels. Whats wrong with holding that opinion? Absolutely nothing. You may not like it, and you are free to say so, but your thought policing needn’t dictate this site’s staffing or question their love of Star Wars. Prequel Hater Haters need to get over their self righteousness just as much as you say the Prequel Haters do.
What’s wrong with that opinion? How about the fact that most negative opinions are based on Gen X’ers (and older) having misguided feelings of nostalgia. It’s also gotten to the point that many opinions of PT haters/bashers have become meritless and also because have been jumping on the PT hating/bashing bandwagon because somehow, that’s the popular thing to do nowadays instead of thinking for themselves.
There’s also the fact that most PT haters/bashers like to express and call their negative opinions as facts and like to force their negative views onto others (plus, making fans who do like the PT feel bad for liking them). Yeah, all of this is what is wrong with them.
So opinions that differ from yours just make you angry and have no merit? Got it.
There are perfectly legitimate arguments against the Prequels. Denying that makes you look like an idiot. You don’t have to agree and you don’t have to like it, but that’s reality. Luckily, no one’s opinion is harming you in any way.
People are pushy with their opinions, get over it.
Of course, no movie is perfect and all movies have flaws, the PT and even the OT. That doesn’t mean that they should be outright declared as bad movies. Yes, the OT had some things on them that seem a bit off too but that doesn’t mean I should automatically think that they’re bad movies (just like it shouldn’t be the case for the PT as well). Yet, you still have fans that, despite them knowing the OT had flaws too, they still like and are completely hating on the PT for having flaws and acting like the OT didn’t (instead of giving the PT equal treatment like they did to the OT). This is the misguided feeling of nostalgia thing I’m referring to.
Just as you state the opposite, there are perfectly legitimate arguments for the Prequels as well. And yeah, that’s my opinion (as well as others’ too), and I’ll defend it too just like others will.
I’m not saying that one shouldn’t form opinions about things they see (on certain elements they see and whatnot), that’s ok. It’s the downright PT hating/bashing that’s just gotten out control as how I’ve stated in my previous post.
I didn’t find Dekka’s casual dislike of the Prequels to be bashing or grounds for his dismissal.
well PT was crap because of 2 main flaws
It was a told story
and
the transformation from anakin to Darth Vader was to late in the trilogy to make it interesting.
There were NONE surprises what so ever.
Besides all OT fans had there own theory of what would happen in PT. I did missed mandalorians and jabba the hutt I thought he would play a bigger part in the story
sry but we see anakin’s transformation since AOTC.
there where no Darth Vader in AotC. No Black Armor.
Sure the PT has some good stuff, but they could never reasonably be considered good movies – only very silly and confused people would argue that(see anonymous’s various silly and confused posts).
I’m a millennial and I don’t have the nostalgia factor of watching the OT in theaters and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that they are superior to the PT in every way, shape or form. No misguided nostalgia here.
What you stated is still opinions, but at least you’re not downright hating on the PT (it’s ok to like both and like the OT more than the PT as lonk as you’re not downright hating on the PT) since the PT was made during our generation’s time (we were unfortunately not born yet to see the OT in theaters).
I do hope however, that 1) you’re not one of those pretentious Millennial hipsters that thinks he’s better than everyone else around his/her age and acts like he/she knows more about art than anyone else and/or 2) you’re just lying about being a Millennial and you’re actually an Gen X’er or older.
Yeah well, it’s also ok to hate the downright hateful PT(ie call a spade a spade) and like the OT and to express it as an opinion. The generation thing is a complete red herring.
I like the OT better, but the PT DOES have some aspects that are better than the OT.
PT’s graphics are quite well done [however the lighting on interiors totally blow the illusion], the lighsaber duels are more sophisticated [however lack real motivation / emotion] the choreography itself is quite good.
Also George Lucas really did take a ballsy risk in specifically making the PT more or less the events of the OT played in reverse. The Phantom Menace really is ROTJ’s nega-twin, George put A LOT of thought into the scripts’ composition theory.
However, the films are just not that entertaining. As a study on film making, there are a lot of interesting aspects, but a something you’d actually want to WATCH in your underwear with a bowl of doritos? NO, not for me anyway.
All of the things they did right in the PT will just not account for the amount of personality that is present in the OT.
PT’s like the well tamed, well groomed poodle that tries to teach you political ethics.
The OT is more like a dirty old mutt you found off the street that will tear apart pillows AND burglars.
OT is just more watchable, because it put what little quality it had on the aspects that mattered.
In my opinion.. prequel bashers are evil..
“In ANH when they go into Mos Eisley, it’s pretty obvious that old Ben has been there before. He knows what a rough town it is, he knows specifically how dangerous that particular cantina is, and he also knows that it’s the best place for them to find a good freighter pilot to hire.

The only thing all that indicates is that Old Ben has been spending a lot of time ON TATOOINE among the riff raff of Mos Eisley. Boring. Again we have had six movies and the entire Clone Wars series that have dealt with Kenobi. There are other lesser known characters with far more interesting questions about them yet to be answered.
All fans want a LOBOT movie. I bet there will be a spinoff with LOBOT the real skywalker.
Besides there are no fans that wants a movie with a strange old hermit
I’m thinking a Kitster movie would probably break every box office record. Don’t get me started on a Ben Quadrino movie.
No! No! The greatest movie of all that absolutely EVERY fan has desired to know at one time or another is the answer to that mystery of mysteries:
How did that two-headed alien come to be a pod race announcer on Tatooine and who taught him/her/it how to speak Basic? Come on Lucasfilm make it happen we can’t wait!!!
You know, I wondered if Max von Sydow could be Kitster, lol.
ROFL!! Told ya so ; P
Of course it was fake…
They have to do this movie. It would be a huge success.
Obi-Wan Kenobi movie starring Ahsoka Tano, Asajj Ventress, Barris Offee, Qunlan Vos, and Darth Maul w/ mechanical legs.
+1 That would be awesome!
Oh yes Babe. I am nasty now !
The fans want a Shmi Skywalker movie!
“I carried him, I gave birth, I raised him. I can’t explain what happened.”
Let a movie explain it.
If there is such thing as “Spin” in the movie business, I think this could be it.
The only way I’d like to see McGregor again as Kenobi is if there is little or no blue screen. McGregor is a horrible blue screen actor.
Yeah, I’m Scottish so I should love Ewan Macgregor, and I do in Trainspotting and a few other things, but as Obi Wan I thought he was horrible. I do think most of that is down to the awful script, his awful styling, and the amount of soulless blue screen work he had to do, when he was a Star Wars fan like the rest of us and must have thought that getting the Star Wars gig would at least have been fun if not Oscar worthy films.
I hope with the right story, he could find the true Obi Wan performance I feel he never gave. I also realised recently just how poorly it was done in the Prequels. In Ep.3 Obi Wan looks, what, 40 years old, at most, and then cut about 18 years later (going by Luke’s age) and he’s 70/80 year old!? Doesn’t make sense visually when you look at them.
Fingers crossed an Obi Wan story could bring something to Star Wars, some magic, about the force and perhaps him learning the force ghost stuff from Yoda. Would be cool.
Kenobi vs Maul again could be a story. But Star Wars is supposed to be a massive Galaxy. Talented Director can spin fresh story by introducing fresh characters.
It is Lucas Films Story Group fault to minimize the possibility of exploring new stuff. How about compassionate Emperial officer trying treason, assassinating Vader?
I hated the Prequels, and I didn’t care for Ewan’s performance as Obi-Wan Kenobi, but even I’m begging Disney to make this happen. I’m itching to see Ewan under much better writing and directing.
Why stating you hate Prequels ? No ones care here. Someone cares i hate brocili and spinach ? No ? Sure ?
Look, it’s the same. If i hate something i will not screaming it on the roofs.
Yeah needless, it goes without saying that the PT is hateful.
For crying out loud. It’s a Star Wars forum, we can discuss our opinions about Star Wars, whether you like them or not, and it so happens that since Obi Wan is a character from the prequels, and the OT, it’s perfectly reasonable for someone to make their viewpoint known about how Obi Wan, to them, fits in to those films.
You’re about as fun as the Third Reich at a Bar mitzvah. Please stop railing on people for merely presenting their viewpoint, you come across like some entitled 10 year old.
Totally agree with the idea that Ewan deserves a really good story and directing that does justice to his acting abilities.
Besides, a new live action film that will serve as an appropriate bridge between OT and PT, is needed to generate a real unity in the whole saga.
How about Vader hunting down the last remaining Jedi with Sidious just after Episode 3. There must have been pockets of jedi around the galaxy before the rebellion started.would make a change to see the bad guys win on film.
they won on RotS.
sounds good
“What the fans want” is exactly what you must not do.
Nah I dont want a Kenobi film. At all. Go with new characters instead of exploiting the old. Kenobi was ruined enough in the spectacularly well-loved PT. The Han Solo anthology movie? A big fat NO THANKS. Leave the legacy alone. Make new characters with new stories dammit or just leave it be.
I knew it was BS when I saw the balance of the force. That keeps coming up ever since the prequel’s.
YEESSSSS!!! More English taled Kenobi speaches 😛 :D:D
I think a shadows of the empire movie would be awesome. I think the anthology movies need to be in a chronological order. Rogue one takes place before ANH the second one should take place between empire and Jedi because we know nothing of that time in the new canon. The last should take place between 6 and 7
KK. I’d tap that.
