First Look at Kylo Ren’s Ship as a LEGO Set

Kylo Ren's Ship

Star Wars Underworld shared a picture with a LEGO set from the upcoming The Force Awakens series. The set has an item number #75104 which matches with the “Lead Villain Vehicle” from the list of upcoming LEGO releases…

As you can see the ship matches with the one we’ve seen in the second teaser, and one of the leaked concept arts. Also it appears that the ship is flying over a forest planet (thanks to limak for pointing this out). The picture doesn’t give a good idea of the scale, but this set will be sold for around $150 so it has to be pretty big.

Looks like the ship is blasting its way into a forest landscape

I’m thinking “the TIE fighter from hell”.

No relation to the ship on top of this page, which is rather a variant of the classical Super Star Destroyer.

Another thought: Remember the Imperial shuttle from Return of the Jedi, which could point its wings upwards? If such a shuttle and a TIE fighter got together and had a love child, that would be Kylo Ren’s ship.

Gotta say I’ve spent my fair share of money on lego’s but wow… $150 for that? I hope its amazing.

Damn Lego tax, the 5% would buy these for the kids. But something tells me alot of 30 plus kids buy them too.

No way i could afford it for myself or my kids,..

I think the picture DOES give a good idea of scale. Just look at the “nubs”.

Exactly… those wings are roughly 12 inches high.

Strange that they don’t have the mini-figures pictured on the cover. That is usually a standard for Lego’s at least the ones I saw in the store over the weekend.

Looks like these are printed instruction books rather than the boxes. The instruction books usually don’t have the minifigs on the front.

It will be in the $120 price range, actually. TRU charges extra, and it will likely be $150 there.

Pretty cool! Wish there was a pic of the Star Destroyer from the front or top. Its hard to tell if the front comes to a point like the older ones. The teaser shot makes it look kinda wide and layered on top. Are they still called Star Destroyers?

Off topic but I noticed that if you put a pair of early 19th century spectacles on JJ’s Abarams, he’s the spitting image of Leon Trotsky.

I wonder if they have anything in common?

Judging by this guy (http://brickset.com/sets/75055-1/Imperial-Star-Destroyer), and going with approximately 10 cents per piece, it should land somewhere around 1500 pieces. Slave 1, by comparison is also priced similarly when done by pieces with 1996 pieces costing $199.99us. It’s going to be a pretty big set, don’t worry guys.

This is a huge spoiler as far as I am concerned.

I don’t want to know that this character “Kylo Ren” has enough influence or stature to warrant command of some huge ship. Crap, now I do.
Please be more careful with your news posts.

No it doesn’t. Would you expect to read a leaked script here without a warning? “Hey it’s news” right?
Me, I am perfectly happy to not even know who the heck Kylor Ren is. Sounds evil, must be some dude with a crappy T-shaped lightsaber, but in truth, we don’t know much unless we seek it out. Well, now we know he has a ship. LOL

it always cracks me up when people who come to site’s geared on giving spoilers and updates…actually complain about getting spoilers and updates..LMAO if you do not want to subject yourself to spoilers…you should really just stick to the official Star Wars site buddy. as for this ship..it is NOT a spoiler…it was in the official trailer and its in official artwork already…do your research before you come on here and make a fool of yourself.ALSO…there is such a thing as not clicking on a post… The headline of this post was pretty clear…no one forced you to click on it.

Here’s the thing. I hypothesize that if they are coming here for Star Wars news…deep down inside somewhere in their psyche, they actually want to see spoilers. They just haven’t admitted it to themselves yet. Their conscience is smiting them for coming here and hence they’re projecting their guilt on the admins. Behavioural Psychology 101, yo.

I did not even read the post. I saw the pic, read the title, and posted to ask the site to be more careful.

Yep, it was in the trailer. Still doesn’t mean I wanted to know whose ship it was.

Doing research is precisely what I am avoiding. I like to be surprised about one or two things in the movie.

Both ships appear in the trailer but if either of these ships have been announced and/or leaked as being assigned to Kylo Ren that’s news to me. Or are we just assuming Ren is the main villain? Phasma is most likely not the top villain but I assumed the shuttle en route to the SD was said captain’s craft.

I’d like to point out that there’s no mention of Kylo Ren’s name whatsoever.

For all we know, this is Christie’s ship.

ALSO, News is not the same as Leaks, I’m here for official releases of information, IMDb gives 2-week-old news AT BEST.

I’m also here for speculation and discussion of the Star Wars mythos.
    Spoilers don’t really interest me.

This set is officially named “Lead Villain Vehicle”. Kylo Ren is the lead villain. We know that for sure.

Yes, that and the picture of Kylo Ren on the artwork there. It makes sense that it is his shuttle/ship. Great news as always! 🙂

The Kylo Ren corner art will likely be used on all of the 2015 TFA Lego sets. They change the corner/art person every year, so it will make sense that a TFA character will take that spot on the new sets.

That said this is obviously his ship.

Also I’ve seen no mention of it but without doubt this year’s Lego Star Wars advent calendar is going to have a lot of TFA stuff in it… And likely a Christmas themed version of a TFA character.

I wonder if this ship is the final design of the leaked concept art of the huge tie fighter on the snow planet.

  • May 27, 2015 at 6:07 am

The wings look like they slide in/out or up/down within the lower portions, which might make sense if it has to fit inside a landing bay designed for tie fighters.

I think those are drop ships for the stormtroopers. I’ve read that particular shot occurs after the raid on the village and its Kylo’s ship and the stormtrooper drop shuttles going back to the star destroyer.
