Katee Sackhoff Denies Episode 7 Rumors.

star wars

On several occasions Katee Sackhoff was rumored for Star Wars: Episode 7. Now it looks like she has other “big plans” not Star Wars related…

After “Battlestar Galactica” star Katee Sackhoff voiced the armored warrior Bo-Katan in the Clone Wars, many people speculated that she will be a great addition to Star Wars: Episode 7. Especially considering that she auditioned for several other J.J. Abrams projects.

Sackhoff herself expressed interested to be part of the Star Wars family:

“I honestly, it’s one of these things where I would love to do every one of these roles that’s available, and they have a short list of these girls and they don’t seem to deviate yet. So hopefully after Riddick, I’ll be on that short list.”

With Katee’s latest tweet we can definitely cross her name off the Episode 7 cast list:

Big things happening people…I wish I could tell ya about them but that would ruin the fun surprises. Xoxo No not #StarWars stop asking! 😉

With so many people auditioning for the movie it’s good to know at least one name that won’t be in it. 🙂

Battlestar Galactica for me is one of the best sci-fi series of all time. I recommend it to every Star Wars fan. Then you’ll know who the fraking Katee Sackhoff is. 🙂

Battlestar Galactica _was_ one of the best sci-fi series of all time. Then they remade it. 😛

Seriously, the new BSG had *zero* likable characters. If that’s what’s left of humanity, I think we’d all be better off if the cylons just finished the job.

nooooo. for me I want unkowns. I don’t want to be distracted by benedict cumberbatches and chloe grace moretzes and brad pitts and whoever. Unless it’s a true legend like Judi Dench or Morgan Freeman, and they play a smaller (but important) role like a queen, senator, general or something, then I could get on board with that. Otherwise, I want to focus 100% on the characters, not their actors.

I couldn’t agree more with you. That is the problem with all Hollywood movies now a days. Jackman here, Brad Pitt there, freaking Tom Cruice over behind there, and wouldn’t you know, theres Tom Hanks again.

Are people so daft, that they decide what movies to see based on who’s inn it?

      Well, It seems so.

Yes I saw this myself. Disney have finalised negotiations with Paramount and now own the rights to Indy. This clears the path for Indy 5, and Harrison Ford wanted a committment from Disney to make another Indy movie before he would commit to Ep 7. Now this obstacle has been cleared maybe we’ll get an official announcement of The Big 3’s return sometime soon?

We can all hope maybe that’s why there hasn’t been sort of news the last couple days, they might be gearing up for a big announcement. I can’t wait to see this movie opening night.
