There has been plenty of rumors lately and the time has come for some official announcements. There are several independent sources on the web all suggesting that something big is coming. Take a look at all the internet buzz about it…

That was a pretty different reaction from the others. It really sounds like Damen is talking about Leonardo DiCaprio who was rumored to be part of Star Wars some time ago.

SUper excited!! If it’s casting news then I’m guessing it will be about Mark, Carrie and Harrison as I presume other casting hasn’t been done yet. Can’t wait to find out.

Well, there’s are some ways they can release news, without really releasing anything new.
They could release a new Star Wars logo. That would be a pretty big nothing.
They could release that Ford, Hamill, Fisher, Daniels, and Williams are cast and returning, something many of us already suspect anyway.
They could release the title of the new film, which isn’t really much but its something I guess.
I’m going to predict the titles for the 3 films right now:
A New Conflict
Return of the Sith
Balance of the Force
yawn! a week later and still no official announcement.
If we’re lucky maybe we will know something official before Christmas.

The official announcement will be first released on StarWars.com. If you want “real news” go and wait there. The purpose of this fan blog here is different. It collects and summarizes all news, scoops and rumors about the new movies. Without rumors the long wait would be really boring.
