UPDATE! The Next Star Wars Animation Series to Feature Tie Fighters?
Director Dave Filoni (Clone Wars) who is currently working on a new Star Wars animation TV show posted an interesting image and a brief comment on his facebook page…
Here’s what Filoni said about the image:
“It’s hard to believe that I have worked at Lucasfilm almost eight years, and this is the first time I have ever gotten to draw a TIE fighter.”
Could this image actually reveal the time period that the action will take place in the new series? Maybe the new series will serve as a bridge between Episode 6 and Episode 7? I am pretty confident that Disney will release some kind of comics or TV series that will prepare us for Episode 7. It’s just a question of time to find out what it will be.
UPDATE!
Definitely there will be Tie Fighters in Filoni’s next project.
Here’s a video posted on Twitter of him opening a Tie Fighter toy and calling it “It’s a research”!

Well, anything with Filoni should be good. Just get the last arcs for the CW done and then give us this new bit.. Can’t wait
I would rather see it bridge the gap between 3 and 4 frankly!
