‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Ticket Sale Announcement Coming Today?

r1logointernational

There hasn’t been a lot of news about the ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ticket sale, that is, until… Read on for more!

The official IMAX Twitter page has begun a marketing tease of a reveal to be made during ‘The Star Wars Show’ today. At the moment, we can only speculate as to what this special IMAX reveal will be. Furious Fanboys seem to think that this new ‘Tweet’ points towards the possible launch of ‘Rogue One’ ticket sales on the 26th October (Today).

IMAX’s official Facebook page also lists the event. They want us to aid the Rebellion and IMAX!

Also, we noticed that the official IMAX page has dates and times of at least one 3D showing. Very interesting indeed.

Showtimes popped up in IMAX 3D at the Minnesota State Zoo IMAX 3D

What could it be?

IMAX

Could it be ticket info and a IMAX poster reveal?

Stay Tuned

idk man…. Fandango got shut down when VII went up. I played it safe last time and just went down to the actual theater and bought 4 tickers for the pre-release night…… i wish we had a definitive answer!

I used the Fandango app that night and it worked.

Yeah, the App worked that night, but the website went down when they went on sale.

I definitely have to remember that, i think last year i thought “well if the site is down the App will DEFINITELY not work” ….. probably my preconceived Notion that going to the site is safer and better even if its not exactly true.

Oh man, getting a ticket for VII was one of the most intense film related experiences of my life LOL. I laugh thinking bout it now, but i was in such a panic that night. I was mostly confused and angry though, since tickets went on sale earlier than they said and I wasn’t emotionally/mentally prepared and then the site went down and I started to freak out and then the site kept saying there were no more tickets and I REALLY freaked out. Luckily my friend told me to breathe and she was able to just get them from her phone. But I was so freaked out i had already started imagining a future where I missed Star Wars opening weekend…. you’d think I was missing the birth of my first born.

Goodness I was so stupid….. and I’ve learned absolutely nothing, because i know I’m going to freak out all over again this year.

Yeah.. i was so upset, the site being down. And then someone else had my card, so i couldn’t buy them anyways. but i just calmed down and i went down to the theater, which was void of anyone, but a couple buying tickets for Star Wars lol. I picked up 4 tickets for the 17th (or whatever the day before opening day was) for 7PM in Dolby ATMOS 🙂

I shall do the same thing this year!, just a little heads up will be nice lol

It sucks, because where I live theres NO theaters around. The closest place is the city which is about an hr away. So if the site crashes when I try to get them at home I cant even walk down and get it. I mean it ended up being fine in the end, we got to see it in AMC Prime and then a week later they did a free Screening for their promotion of Dolby Atmos so I got to see it again and get all those exclusive IMAX posters in one go. It was a really fun experience.

Oh that is awesome. I’m sure you will be able to procure your tickets this year too. I don’t think Rogue One will cause the hype that TFA did. But man…. Next year… Prepare lol

I was on top of things last time. I had first choice of the assigned seats for the showing I wanted. Of course, I can’t do the midnight shows anymore. One, because I’m old and I’ll fall asleep. And two, my kids are too young for that. And I’m all about taking them.

Perhaps IMAX will announce that they are filing for bankruptcy. That would make for a very special….The Star Wars Show.

No dice on the ticket sale date. It is when it is, but you think they would be announcing it real soon.
